Your Daily Dose Of Intentional Music - A Form Of Medicine?

Your Daily Dose Of Intentional Music - A Form Of Medicine?

Music.

The 'shorthand of emotions'.

Or so it's been called.

The quicker way, the more direct route, for understanding, expressing, feeling, emotions.

All emotions.

Sadness. Excitement. Joy. Anger. Creativity. Anticipation.

And so on.

Now...

We know, or at least have been told, that having more pleasant emotions on a more regular basis leads to better health outcomes.

In dire situations (during illnesses such as cancer).

And in every day life. With every day problems.

It at least makes some common sense. At least to many.

Definitely makes common sense to me.

So, today, it's simple.

I ask you the simplest of simple questions.

Might it be fair to say that using music as a medicinal tool to intentionally invoke desired emotions, also helps to achieve more desired states of health?

And if so, are you using it?

Better yet, are you using it intentionally

And on a daily basis?

Now I don't mean turning on the radio and letting the programmers of the world choose for you. Picking between medicine A (radio station A) or medicine B (radio station B).

No, this isn't what I mean by choosing.

I mean, actively finding, choosing, truly seeking and listening to music that 'vibes' with you, in order to help to evoke, or even release, a particular type of emotion that you desire to express or bring in more of? Music that makes you feel truly uplifted, inspired, healthy, and ready for a life full of energy, happy activity, and purpose?

This may seem so obvious. So overdone. Even elementary.

But truly, how many of us actively use music as medicine

Hey, I might be crazy.

What I write today may simply be a bunch of BS.

But, just in case.

Read some more about it below, think about it, and try it on for size.

See where it leads you.

Happy reading. :-)
