Healing Diets....All Meat or All Plant?
This is such an important topic that I will most likely bring up over and over again on this site. It's not an easy one to discuss. And like most things, it's definitely not black and white.
Healing Diets.
There are so many people out there claiming that their way cured them, healed them, brought them back to health.
Today I want to highlight two opposing ends of the spectrum:
The Plant Based (only plants or mostly plants) Diet.
The Carnivore (only Animal or Mostly Animal Foods) Diet.
There are pretty good arguments for both.
There is pretty good evidence, for both.
There are people who've healed, on both (meaning, those who tried one or both and healed on only one).
There are people who tried both and walked away from both, and not because they couldn’t do it, but because their health actually began to worsen.
As someone who was a vegan for three straight years, and who was also a carnivore for nearly three years - even during pregnancy - (including many years trying other various healing diets that were neither extreme), I know for sure, the topic isn't as straightforward as we want it to be.
SOME:
Carnivores claim that people have been eating meat since the 'beginning of time'. They point to tribal people who exist around the world today and thrive on only or mostly animal foods.
Carnivores argue that meat and animal products have all of the nutrition known to man and known to be needed by man.
Vegans claim that we live in such a toxic soup that we need to live our lives strictly on plants - which are cleansing - to keep up with the detoxification of our body from all of the environment's harms.
Vegans may also argue that there’s more to nutrition than meets the eye, and that energetics, and even quantum physics, a scientific category rarely talked about in the mainstream circle, even mainstream alternative health (if you can believe there is one), has more to do with human health than we’ve been lead to believe. They claim that the body can make many of the nutrients needed all on its own regardless of food, if given the chance. Grounding, sun exposure, a positive community, structured water, and eating straight from the source can provoke wondrous happenings that science of today has yet to catch up with.
Of course there are many other arguments for both sides...which is something I suggest you consider and research.

I've come to the personal conclusion that:
One size will never fit all.
There's way more to it than meets the eye.
Experience matters. It matters a lot.
And so does the current state of the individual body.
And that possibly, just possibly, there is a time and a place for both diets in our lives, swapping one for the other, when appropriate.
And much much more....

The following are some examples of stories, studies, and papers for you to personally assess.
I challenge you to consider all conclusions, seriously, and then to come up with your own conclusions. Even better, be your own case study and see what happens.
